The UC Chicanx/Latinx Leadership Summit brings together faculty, staff and administrators for networking; gaining a greater understanding of the Chicanx/Latinx presence at UC; and developing strategies to engage UC's next generation of leaders.

Lodging

The planning committee has reserved a room block at the DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina for $175 per night. Reservation details will be provided to individuals who complete the registration process. The special room rate will be available until Friday, December 20, or until the group block sells out. We recommend booking your room early to ensure your spot.

To cancel your reservation, please contact the hotel at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival. 


Transportation

If you are traveling by public transportation, the closest hubs to the hotel and campus include:

The DoubleTree offers complimentary shuttle service to/from the Downtown Berkeley BART, as well as within a three-mile radius of the hotel. Please call the hotel to coordinate a pickup: (510) 548-7920.

Self-parking at the DoubleTree costs $15 per day for event guests — a 50 percent discount off of regular self-parking rates. No discount will be provided for valet rates. All parking is subject to applicable tax. If the hotel lot is full, guests will be redirected to other parking areas along the marina.
